General cargo surveys
Under general cargo one might differentiate: break bulk cargo, containers, dry bulk cargo, cars and project cargo. ASA performs opening-hatch surveys and separation of damaged cargo during discharging operations.
Bulk cargo surveys
ASA performs surveys on bulk cargo which is cargo that is usually transported unpackaged in large quantities. This dry bulk is usually dropped or poured, into a bulk carrier ship’s hold, railroad car, or tanker truck/trailer. Examples thereof are grain, coal, iron ore, bauxite, wood chips, cement and minerals.
Perishables and temperature sensitive cargo
Under perishables and temperature sensitive cargoes we understand fruit & vegetables as well as other foods.
Project cargo and heavy lifts
ASA takes care of warranty surveys concerning oversized cargo and heavy lifts.
Liquids & chemicals
Damage surveys can be performed on any type of liquid, varying from chemicals, mineral oils, vegetable oils, fats, liquid fertilizers, biofuels to even fruit juice.
